About Us

This year marks the 28th anniversary of Dixon-Hall Fine Art. The co-owners, Tim Dixon and Audrey Hall spent many years gaining valuable experience before forming their partnership. Tim Dixon is a fine artist and graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. After graduating from the Academy, he worked for many of the galleries and museums in Philadelphia including the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Schwarz Gallery and was director of Nineteenth and early Twentieth Century paintings at the Gross McCleaf Gallery. He headed the Art Department at Freeman’s Auction for three years. Audrey Hall received her B.A. from Pomona College in Claremont, CA (1981) and her M.A. from Bryn Mawr College (1983) and was researcher and writer of over ten publications while employed at the Schwarz Gallery over a period of six years. With common interest and similar backgrounds, a partnership was formed, Dixon-Hall Fine Art.
